David Beckham is on the shelf for a while….he may never be the same!! !!

For the average Joe, tearing your achilles is a very painful and tedious recovery, but for a uber Soccer God of the magnitude of David Beckham, this could very well alter his career.  Being involved in a sport that heavily depends on running such as Track and Field and Soccer, and coupled with age, I know people think that David can walk on water, but don’t be surprised if he is not the same player.  I believe Donovan Bailey, former track star, had his career reduced severely after an achilles tear, it is just the nature of the injury.  What will work in David’s favor is taking his time coming back and utilizing the state of the heart rehab that is at his disposal.  Also, he looks a tad bit pissed off in this pic, thanks to TMZ for the pic.
